By purchasing or registering for a ticket to the Girls In Business Breast Cancer Charity Golf Day 2026, the purchaser and registered attendees agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Venue: Boomerang Farm Golf Course, Mudgeeraba, QLD
Ticket Price: $150 per person

Tickets & Registration
Tickets are subject to availability and registration is not confirmed until payment has been successfully received. The purchaser is responsible for ensuring all information supplied for themselves and other attendees included in their booking is accurate.

Change of Mind & Inability to Attend
Tickets are non-refundable where an attendee simply changes their mind or can no longer attend due to personal circumstances, including illness, work commitments, travel arrangements or other personal reasons.

This does not affect any rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law. The ACCC confirms businesses aren’t generally required to provide refunds simply because a consumer changes their mind.

Ticket Transfers
If you can no longer attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person rather than lose your place.

The Girls In Business team must be notified of the replacement attendee and provided with their full registration details prior to the event.

Tickets must not be commercially resold for profit.

Event Cancellation
If Girls In Business cancels the event and the event is not rescheduled, ticket holders will be provided with the remedy required under Australian Consumer Law.

Queensland’s Office of Fair Trading specifically states that consumers have a right to a refund for a cancelled ticketed event, even where ticket terms purport to say otherwise.

Postponement or Significant Changes
Girls In Business may make reasonable changes to the event schedule, activities, format, competitions, sponsors, entertainment or other operational elements where necessary.

If the event is postponed, significantly changed or unable to be delivered safely, attendees may have refund or other rights under Australian Consumer Law depending on the circumstances.

Weather
This is an outdoor event and may be affected by weather conditions.

Where safe and practical, the event may continue with changes to the schedule, golf activities, Putt Putt, activations or other elements of the day.

If weather or another circumstance results in cancellation, postponement or a significant change to the event, any applicable remedies will be handled in accordance with these Terms and Australian Consumer Law.

Golf & Physical Activities
Attendees acknowledge that golf and other activities conducted during the event involve ordinary risks associated with physical and sporting activities.

Participants must follow reasonable instructions provided by event organisers, venue staff and activity operators.

Participants should only take part in activities they feel physically capable of undertaking.

Alcohol & Behaviour
Where alcohol is available, responsible service of alcohol requirements apply.

Event organisers and the venue reserve the right to refuse service or require an attendee to leave where their behaviour is unsafe, abusive, disruptive, intoxicated or otherwise inappropriate.

Food & Dietary Requirements
Attendees should disclose relevant dietary requirements during registration.

While reasonable efforts may be made to accommodate dietary requirements, attendees with serious allergies should speak directly with the venue regarding food preparation and allergen management.

Photography & Videography
Photography and videography will take place throughout the event.

By attending, guests acknowledge they may appear incidentally in event photography or video used to document and promote the event.

Where practical, attendees who do not wish to be individually photographed or featured should notify the Girls In Business team at registration.

Teams & Event Groups
Team requests will be accommodated where possible but cannot be guaranteed.

Final team arrangements and Group 1 / Group 2 allocations are determined by Girls In Business based on event requirements.

Prizes, Raffles & Competitions
Competitions, raffles, giveaways and prizes may be subject to separate eligibility requirements and conditions.

Specific competition rules will be communicated where applicable.

Personal Information
Personal information collected through registration will be used to administer the event, process registrations, communicate important event information and manage attendee requirements.

Payment card information is processed through the nominated payment provider and is not intended to be directly collected or stored by Girls In Business through the registration form.

Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
